Privacy and the contact form
What we collect when you contact us through this website, why, where it goes, and how to ask us to see or remove it.

Who we are
This website is run by DigitalBeak, an independent consultancy based in Australia. You can contact us about privacy at hello@digitalbeak.com.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through the contact form, we collect:
- your name, work email address and organisation
- your role, if you choose to give it
- your message and the service you are interested in
- how you prefer to be contacted, and your phone number if you choose phone
- your agreement to be contacted about your enquiry
To protect the form from spam and abuse, your IP address is used briefly to limit how many messages can be sent from one connection. It is held only in the server's short-term memory and is not stored or included in the email we receive. The form also uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks signals from your browser to tell people from automated bots.
Please do not include passwords or other sensitive information in your message.
Why we collect it
We use your details only to respond to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to arrange and deliver the work you ask for. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or share your details for marketing.
Where it is sent
Your enquiry is not stored in a database. When you submit the form, it is processed by our website host, Vercel, and delivered as an email to our inbox by our email delivery provider, Resend. The spam check is provided by Cloudflare. These providers may process information outside Australia, including in the United States.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile runs only on the contact page, once you start filling in the form.
How long we keep it
The email containing your enquiry is kept in our mailbox only as long as we need it to respond to you and to manage any work that follows, and is then deleted.
Seeing, correcting or removing your information
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@digitalbeak.com. We will respond within a reasonable time, and usually within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
